IRC promotes its services and activities through visits to Regional Library and Youth Center in Kenitra on March 13, 2008

On March 13, two members of IRC staff made a trip to Kénitra, 40 kms North of Rabat to visit the Ministry of Culture’s public library “Regional Library” and Oulad Oujih youth center  to meet their directors. 

The visit was an occasion to introduce IRC services and activities and to highlight the variety of products available through the Public Affairs Section to contacts met during these visits.  IRC presented a large collection of books, brochures, issues of IIP Electronic  journals, and information USA CD-ROM. 

Both directors of the library and youth center were very appreciative for the collection of books received and expressed their interest in establishing a working relationship with Public Affairs Section for any joint projects and programs in the future for the benefit of young Moroccans in Kenitra and region. 
 
These visits proved to be of a great importance to us as well as to the new contacts, who have never been in contact with the U.S. Embassy, in a sense that it will reinforce PAS relationship with these institutions.
